Making A Difference Through Our Autism Screening & IEP Support
In 2018, the CDC determined that roughly 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Unfortunately, many other children often go undiagnosed which can lead to a variety of challenges later in life and perhaps even more importantly, because of this, they are never granted the opportunity for the support that they very much need and deserve.
Our Colorado Springs mental health care experts are trained in psychological/diagnostic testing and autism screenings. We work not only with children but with the child’s parents, guardians, caretakers, and teachers in administering specialized testing procedures to evaluate and determine whether or not your child may have a diagnosis and/or is entitled to an Individual Education Program (IEP).
What is an IEP? It is a legal document protected under law that allows your child to be granted opportunities for special education. From there, our team can provide clinical recommendations, parent/teacher IEP meetings, provide guidance, and parental education/training among many other opportunities.
